    ... hot over the past few days - it got to 38 Celsius today and will continue to get warmer over the next few days. Following lunch we briefly visited the Basilica del Pilar which had a couple of frescos in the dome ceilings by Goya. The Basilica was bombed by the Republicans in the Spanish civil war - two bombs went through the ceilings but did not explode (the republicans were poor and used low quality materials).     (Lily says) at our new campsite there was a big lake it was very very big. There was also a swimming pool and the swimming pool was cold when we first went in it.
