... on a Sunday but a rammy of food and booze that ends up in monkey impressions, trays of tequila, discussions about gorilla masks, pirates, steam rollers and arctic pipelines (or arctic rolls if you have too much to drink and get popular 90's puddings mixed up with something I'm sure you'd pay a lot of money for in a 'special' club). I'm sure nobody who was at that brunch will ever eat arctic roll again. Great day but holy hangover.

... tallest flag pole in the Emirates.

Once again en route, we passed a strange looking ‘boot shaped’ building. Some of the buildings in the Emirates are truly innovative and awe inspiring. This building is the Capital Gate building. Other than that…no idea!!!

About 8hrs later or 8:00am in UAE time we arrive at our hotel, the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr which looks across the Abu Dhabi Creek (more attractive than it sounds) to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. We have some breakfast as our room is not ready. We make it to our room about 10:30. From our room on the 3rd floor we have a great view of the pool area, the "world's largest out door cinema", the beach on Abu Dhabi Creek and across to Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
