Heads full of history we hit the road and made for the Bab Al Sham Resort for sundowners in the desert ..........a modest little pad close to one of Sheik Al Maktours little weekend residences. If you fancy getting away from it all, this would be a great place to go........Mrs C soon discovered they did mean G&T's. The seating area was high up, festooned with cushions and lanterns. It took 11 years to build and cost hundreds of millions of dollars to complete. May was a really good month! :)

It involved visitors (Nic & Sam), Justin Timberlake Concert, Dubai Brunch and much more!

1) Visit to Al Maryah Island (across from Al Reem Island)
This is a newly developed island with a new mall called The Galleria. It contains lots of nice shops and little cafes and resteraunts. We went for a wander around and took a few photos!
