Today stated with an early wake up to get ready to go. A quick breakfast and Mick drove me to Bill and Joy's place where my Limo Transfer was to collect me at 9:00.

The Etihad transfer has a 60km radius from Brisbane airport and outside of that there is an added cost. Bill and Joys place is just outside the limit so I had to pay $11.55 :-)

The driver, Ross delivered me to the airport in plenty of time. ...

We also spent an evening at a place called Pearls and Caviar for dinner. It was quite posh! The buy one get one free Entertainer Voucher book has been a life saver!! It is basically a book FULL of BOGOF vouchers which can be used in pretty much all resteraunts/cafes etc throughout Abu Dhabi, which means we get to visit and try lots of new places! :)

... heat like it. You can't spend a lot of time outside. They have a roof top pool but unfortunately swimmers are still in the luggage somewhere in Abu Dhabi airport, so there is no swimming. The girls swimming in their undies probably wont go down too well here. The pool temperature is 29deg, it would hardly cool you down.

... this is a very dangerous road with only 2 lanes each destination and many trucks and we have to be very careful. But when we went there I could not understand what the guys are talking about. If this is dangerous what can I tell them about our Mombasa -Nairobi highway where we have one lane each, crazy truck drivers, mad overland busses and of course our Matatu friends.
