Most of the camels on sale were females. Ursula tipped us off to a method of identifying the sex of the camels, and it’s not what you think. Look up, not down.

The males have a crease in their skull, while the females have a nice even, round skull.

Through effort, dedication, skill and competition results they ascend moving up the levels of the pyramid, with each higher level providing additional coaching and hours of training time. The athletes on the UAE national team have ascended to the pinnacle of the Palm Sport's pyramid, generally training upwards of 16 hours a week Monday through Friday!
