3) Visit to Emirates Palace
Emirates Palace is a very very grand hotel in Abu Dhabi. I think its the most expensive hotel ever built but I need to check with google as I may be wrong!!
Anyway, we went for a drink to the beach bar one evening and it was lovely!!

Normally Fox would not make an entry for a transit point, but exceptions must be made.

The descent into Abu Dhabi was as depressing as could be - sand, sand, and more sand. It was very early morning, but workers were already sweating on the tarmac. If ever Fox had thought it would be interesting to go to the gulf, the unending sand seen from the plane chased the thought away.
