... the Bellagio in Vegas. It was cool, but the Bellagio's show is a little better. ;)

Then it was time to go up the Burj Khalifa - the tallest building in the world. The building itself is 550 meters tall, and you are able to go up to the 148th story. (To put it in perspective - the Willis Tower, or Sears Tower in Chicago is only 108 stories) We are super excited we did this at night, because the views of the Dubai skyline from that far up with all the night ...

Great day hanging out with the family. Plus three Pugs, two cats plus a ring in cat and a bird. Dubai Mall for the Aquarium experience and worth the price of admission just to see the look on Ned's face. Loved it. Couldn't stand still. Really well done this place. Got a look at behind the ...

... The beach is pretty much empty and there are very few people around and those who are around are covered up mostly from head to toe. But the icing on the cake was that there were no waves, no ocean sounds no wind and no smell of the ocean. It was nothing like anything an Australian would think of as a beach. As I was so tired from the flight I was really starting to question whether I was awake at this point or not.

We walked down the beach boardwalk ...

... would like to go back to Nepal and help the people over there like we did in Peru. Picking up stone by stone so people can start with rebuilding there houses but it is too early for this. And it is advised not to return to Nepal.

We had a good short flight to Dubai. After a long waiting time of more than 1 hour at the passport control we finally could enter the Emirates at 01:00h But there was a big surprise waiting for ...

... After walking down one way we stopped for an expensive coffee at Starbucks. About the same price as in Switzerland. The only reason we had coffees there was because it has soymilk. To go back we took a watertaxi and as it was already getting late and dark we went for dinner a lovely looking Arabian restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and as it custom here to order different plates and share with each other it was not a problem just ordering one main course.
