... Bowl trophy, baseball needed to step up to the plate with a trophy of their own.  Matt Durrelli would have liked being on this tour with us. He and Victor will have to plan a trip to St. Louis to see a Cardinals game together in the luxury club seats. ... nearing over, of course no wind today once again... I drifted by several giant sized whirlpools , they look like big toilets water going round and round with big logs and smaller debris in their vortex....

A barge the size of a cornfield passes I wave at the captain of the tug boat off their sterns ... he toot back a falsetto pitched horn in response...

... I left Larry on the bridge and started speed walking back to the train station. I showered, changed and Anne, Jeff and I caught a cab back to Darling harbor with prefect timing. We sat at a table with Rotarians from Alabama, Georgia, Florida, The Vivid festival in on Sydney right now. Vivid is a light show. Buildings are projected onto. ... of the sudden the great eagles came in to save the day. They swooped in and pulled us all out of the trees just in time. When we were far enough away they set us all down. We thanked them and they flew us as far as they could. Gandalf then leads us to Beorn. He told us to come two at a time. Him and Bilbo went first. Gandalf starts to tell Beorn of there adventure and more dwarves come up. Beorn doesn't like visitors but because he was so into the story he let it go. ...

... definitely aim to get there at 8:30am instead of 10am, and maybe not on a Cardinals home-game-day Saturday.

So, now we are on I-70W making our way across Missouri on our way to Kansas, and then Colorado. Next stop, Mesa Verde, Co! Well..actually, I'm sure the next stops will be diesel, bathrooms, and sleep. And maybe a shower. And a run. Not in that order.

But after all that...Mesa Verde, here we come! Only 20 hours to go!
