Aarau, Aargau, Switzerland beaandroger... that went upside down and I would never go on it in a million years. It was frightning. We did have fun though and then we walked to all the others one with a big wheel we never went on anything else we just watched the peoples faces on them and had a laugh.

The last one was food and stuff and we where going to have something to eat but to be honest I was a bit bored with the food and not very ...
Basel, Basel, Switzerland traceybelle... fairgrounds to check things out.

In Münsterplatz we rode the big wheel and got a nice view of the city lights reflecting on the Rhine. After our ride we just hung around a stall selling gluwein, drinking and chatting. Everywhere we went was crowded with people in good spirits and children full of sugar and excitement. Herbstmesse is a fun time in Basel!
Basel, Basel, Switzerland travelingdiva... weaved our way through the crowds to the new electronics store, pausing a few times along the way to see what else was in this shopping centre. Another great thing I discovered - Basel is now home to a Subway! The line up was insane though so I decided to skip it for the time being. It's a good thing too or else we would have missed our shot at a Wii.

When we located the console area of the store and had barely begun looking for the Wii section, a guy wearing the store ...
Basel, Basel, Switzerland travelingdivaWe got back in Basel late yesterday afternoon. We had lots of time to sort out our luggage and for mom and dad to repack for their journey today. Today it was time to say good-bye. They are driving back to Paris and flying home midday tomorrow. I had parked their rental car in an underground garage right by my apartment. We all walked down to the garage together, Lincoln included, with their assortment of suitcases and carry-ons. Once we managed to squeeze everything in ...
Basel, Basel, Switzerland travelingdiva... program is an American show or movie, so it is in English, and often with German dubbing. However my TV always defaults to the German dubbing and I couldn't figure out how to get it to switch to the English audio. Once we had that figured out we walked down the street to an awesome lounge called eoipso which has a very cool atmosphere. It is housed inside a former factory where they built ship engines so the ceiling is very high and the room is massive. There are ironworks along ...
Basel, Basel, Switzerland travelingdiva... back to my room where I was sure I had spotted a sewing kit amongst all the single serve goods in washroom. I sewed my skirt back together and headed off again. It is so warm here! It is 10pm now and 23C. I am loving that. It apparently rained briefly today but I missed it and only experienced warmth and sunshine. My potential future manager is pretty fun. He is French and I love listening to his accent. He lived in Montreal for a few years ...
Basel, Switzerland travelingdivaWe are currently in Basel, Switzerland. We needed to get out of Paris, so we hopped on a train and rode through France into Switzerland. Its been snowing a LOT. Kind of wish I would have went skiing as I originally planned, but it would have been expensive and required Lauren to bring another bag, which in turn would have cost me a fee on every flight we took. So, it was easier and cheaper to ...
Basel, Switzerland jneilosu... steps up to the surface. To our surprie the lift then passed up past us so we waited and sure enough it was working once again. Finally at the surface, we precariously made our way to Gare de l'Est only to find that our TGV to Basel was yet to be allocated a platform. While we waited a large crowd grew around the departures display until the platform was finally announced, some 10 minutes before departure. It was then a mad rush as 2 trains worth of people made their way ...
