    We stopped on the outskirts of Hannover for a quick visit with Pete's second cousins Herbert and Vicky. Peter hadn't seen them since he was a kid.     ... city after the bombings of WWII was both interesting and terrifying at the destruction man will do to man. Martin then went to get the car and we drove back to Schende.

    We had a light supper of bread and cheese and Martin and Bentas son Nicoli came to the house. We had a great evening discussing everything from nuclear power (Martin is a Physicist) to Mechanical engineering. It was a very nice evening.
