... On the road again - another big drive, approx 6 hours eek! Catch ya later Andrea and Gaza Ps. one thing about Rome - we were warned about pickpocket's and lots of scams....we never saw anything dodgy at all, and never felt unease either. They only instance was the guys selling water, they are a bit Suss with giving change...but gaza had them sorted quick smart. We really enjoyed Rome, a beautiful place, insane traffic as well...it's a shame we didn't have longer. But we can always go back ...

Of couse St Peter's is beyond amazing, and our tour ended here. Patrick and I attended Mass in a side chapel. It had been a lovely morning weather - wise too, but was a bit rainy off and on in the afternoon as we headed to explore.
We went back home to freshen up and then headed on the metro to Circus Maximus and to stroll along the Tiber River. We walked around the ruins ...

We caught the metro, line B...you can't really go wrong, it's either train A or B...would have been a good intro to Han as a 'how to use a metro map'. ... and grapes. It was great to eat this simple repast. I won't talk about the bag of chips and chocolate we had at the end. Then Marie was going to make us a cup of tea using water from the bidet but I said, firmly and whinely, NOOOOOOO. She likes to torment me and once I thought she was my good sister.
Now she is trying to find the hotel where we join the tour. Gott in Himmel I say, We will be carrying all our belongings so getting lost IS NOT AN OPTION!!!! MARIE!
