We had a lovely day today visiting two fabulous Loire valley Chateaux. The first was Chateau de Chemonceau and the second was Chateau de Chaumont. They were set in fabulous river side settings with stunning gardens. We couldn't believe how many fairytale Chateaux there are in such close proximity. We could have spent days here just exploring ...
... were left as they were for us all to enjoy. The chateau itself is amazing but the grounds were a little disappointing. Just lawn area, with a little moat along the front.
