... sur-Loire. Running along the river side was a lovely area which invited camping. But there was this sign which said no camping cars between 1900 and 0900. Spoilsports! I bet the French wouldn't have obeyed it. Never mind! We found a car park in the centre of town in front of the big church. Food consumed and then to bed. Noisy, because of the lorries charging through the town centre but fab fun!

J'aurais pas vu tous mes potes, une petite partie en fait, mais bon pas evident sans voiture (je pouvais pas conduire avec mon pied), tout le monde bosse et je n'ai en fait eu qu'un week end a Orleans... Ce sera pour l'annee prochaine si je reste un peu plus longtemps.. On verra..

... Unfortunately the children gave up 1km short and Jeanne and I were the only ones to see the sunset. It was a spectacular sunset and I felt rather disappointed we had not walked there as although Santiago is the official end the camino is not really complete until finnisterre. Maybe next time we will walk to finnisterre. Returning to our albergue ...

... a coffee/tea with a small piece of toast. After yesterday's breakfast this was quite pathetic. Our next stop was before mid day with 12km until Santiago at a rather flash hotel. I had my first beer before mid day but the end was in sight. The children's feet were all a little tender after yesterday and a gentle journey was obviously required and fortunately today was our shortest day. We had a picnic ...

Et oui, ça sent le départ!!
Les bagages sont prêts dans la salle à manger.
C'est avec une grosse boule au ventre pour ma part que l'on fait le tour des au revoir, Je commence à réaliser que l'on ne verra plus personne pendant 9 mois, enfin sauf pour ceux qui passent nous voir sur la route. ça fait bizarre ...
