      ... that made the aquaduct even more amazing. As I already knew it was built around 1AD, so is over 1000yrs old. What I didn't realise is that there is no mortar used, the huge blocks are just sitting on each other. Also the bit we can see is almost the only part that is seen due to the rest of it being under ground. Mind blowing stuff. Our first part of the tour was lunch.       By 2 o'clock we were in Madrid via Hamburg ( with our bags KLM !!!!) trying to find the Express Bus to the city which appears to be a well kept secret as no none could direct us to it.

      Madrid airport is the size of Orange and was 33 degrees today; we seem to have seen a fair proportion of it until we found the right spot.
