      ... outside Paris, which was constructed in the 1660s.

      It's a gorgeous structure both inside and out. My chief gripe, here as well as at other such public monuments, is that "no photographs" signs were everywhere as you entered. I don't understand the sense of that unless they are trying to keep the visiting multitudes moving through the rooms, or are trying to sell accompanying books and booklets which include photographs of most of the rooms ...

      ... Once I had landed in Seattle, it felt like nothing had changed. I got my bag immediately and then went outside and said hi to my dad and Maggie. It was so good to see them!! I was overjoyed to be home and was anxious to get back to the house. I took a shower and then ate Lee's asian with my dad before going out and hanging out with Griff, Ryan, Cam and Claudia. I was exhausted from my trip and realized I probably should have just stayed home but I wanted to see my friends so I sacrificed for them.

      ... Anyways, after the first tapas, my stomach started hurting but I kept going. The second tapa's was good, and I learned how to order just water from the tap instead a bottle of water. They gave it to me free, and I enjoyed it! The third place though, gave us so much food and I learned I liked baby octopus but like small small small. You would never guess.       ... any the three of us decided we had enough and headed back to the hostel with a few other fed up people. This was definitely a true example of the European ways and how relaxed they are about organisation!
      The night wasn't a complete waste as we really did enjoy the talent show and games night but we just weren't prepared to walk around from pub to pub in the freezing cold!

      ... this week, we presented Navidad cards to the teacher we were given but every group had to read their card aloud which took so long! One of the classes then sang a song; well tried their best to. The room was absolutely empty by the time they finished despite the teachers' best efforts to keep everyone inside.

      Nat, taking after her grandmother, got extremely worried about me not eating enough so grabbed a plate and filled it with omelette, muffin, chocolate, ...
