... Well, this is getting long. I'll end with some oneliners from my notebook. And I'll try to write another entry later.

- The weather here is amazing for the time of year.

Kapital, a seven stories tall nightclub with four distinct venues. Starting
from bottom, a more rave like electronic music house scene, to all American
top-40s, rock-n-roll, and finally a mixed reggae on rooftop balcony area.
An interesting aspect of the nightlife was that, it was
really hard to find clubs or bars that were playing Spanish or Portuguese
music. Almost everywhere, you could hear American music. I heard many old songs
... the way to travel your way around Espana. There are various lines, servicing various areas – all seem to run on time (more or less) and are affordable, plus comfy.
Motor coach transport from Gibraltar/La Linea to Granada, for instance, takes you along the swanky Costa del Sol (rich, brochure-ish views of the Mediterrean Sea you won’t believe), and then north into the valleys where geometric rows of olive groves do sentinel duty on the ...
... and ended a few blocks away. I have used a pay phone in Europe before, but only using a calling card. Two euros later, I gave up trying to get the phone to work and decided to try my luck getting someone in the bar to let me use their cell phone. After butchering the spanish language with a few locals, I got someone to dial the host's phone number. No one picked ...
... met Roxanne at the Palacio Real, which is a huge complex, sumptuous palace which is still used for State occasions. We all thoroughly enjoyed seeing the luxuriously decorated State apartments It was so interesting to note that many of the famous paintings in the Prado, like Goya’s "las meninas" originally hung here.
