We had failed to find the tourist information office on Friday night, so decided to try to find the one in Plaza Mayor. As there are not two streets in Madrid that are parallel and the liklihood of getting lost for a week highly likely, we used the primitive map in our apartment to identify a staight street running from the bottom of our street (50m) past ...

... is horrible when on a vacation with four little ones. The other aspect we didn't "train" for was the sleeping arrangements of two kids per bed. We should have sold their bunk beds the day we decided to make this trip. I am so tired of hearing, "he touched my leg, he took all the covers, she is taking all my pillow space"...Ahhhh but that is part of our current life, I am sure they will get over this in a couple days! That being said, we are having ...

... br> I had an awesome time. We danced for hours and hours to music only in Spanish-- it was so nice not to have to listen to all the American top hits for once. We ended up leaving at probably around 4am and left to go to a chocolaterķa-- the Spanish late-night snack is churros and chocolate. I can definitely deal with that.

We then took the bus home and arrived at 6am, heading to bed immediately when we walked in the door. I can definitely get used to ...
