    Our tour of the Palace of the Parliament is at 1145. We take the city bus down and, having already booked from the hotel, we present ourselves at the desk in the curiously insignificant entrance. We're given a small piece of paper to hand in at the tourist shop opposite where capitalist business is carried out. Our passports are then taken from us to be kept as hostages until we're off the premises! Is this a cunning ploy to give us a proper sense of its communist ...
