    The countryside of Romania is really nice. I took an 8 hr bus to Bucharest. I slept a bit but also was able to see how beautiful the country is. I talked to two people on the bus bc they spoke English. Nice older women. My hostel is nice and relaxed. I have a room to myself tonight which is cool.     ... and very historic sights in Romania. The churches there are gorgeous! It'll be sad saying goodbye to Melissa tomorrow. I'm excited about Istanbul though.     ... I arrived, it too was closed. Three museums, four hours of wandering, and absolutely nothing to show for it. (It wasn't all bad though: Bucharest is actually quite beautiful in parts. Walking down the street, you can turn a corner and see a wonderful, old baroque building. I saw concert halls, museums, old centers of commerce, and military fraternity halls, all gorgeous.
