    ... no and that the recipe was just a normal recipe and perhaps because she used a machine with the kneading...If that were the case, then she ought to be fine giving the recipe, right? Something's fishy, but ugh!!! We will never know (short of breaking into the restaurant) how to make those perfect biscuits. We can only remember how awesome they tasted and dream of when we might be able to have them again.

    Being knackered after our hike made it easier to leave the Adirondacks (alive!) and all we could think about was getting to Burlington (Vermont), where our next AirBnB was booked.     ... is such a great ride. The diesel engine pushes the carriage up but does not pull it down. in fact the carriage has its own brakes and just touches the engine on the way down. The engine and carriage are not joined together except for the electrics to work the microphone. The gradient is very steep at times - 37.41% at the steepest. (14 inches up in every 3 feet forward).

    The views on the way up were lovely and at the top even better. We were at cloud level - what few ...
