... There was also an exhibition of paintings by the 1920s School of Paris. Not incredibly famous pieces, but a lovely collection all the same. A selection of paintings depicting Gods and Goddesses throughout the ages. Finally a collection of Julian Schnabel pieces which were very large and colourful, although not my cup of tea.

... 8217;t sure whether I was watching replays or more goals. By the 3rd, 4th and 5th, I was actually just laughing in hysteria. I think I was in denial. Bright sides? Well there aren’t many. For one, at least this defeat was quick. Like ripping off a band aid. A really big band aid. At least it wasn’t the incredible stress that the whole country went through with Chile. The thought of coming back is actually not as daunting as we thought it would be! We are both looking forward to a new chapter in our life and we feel that we have had the exact dose of adventure that was needed to give us renewed energy and a zest for life to tackle the challenges ahead of us!

By this time it became obvious that a recurring theme throughout all the businesses we had visited in Brazil was sustainability, and Brazil and it's people pride themselves on being highly sustainable and environmentally friendly.

... afternoon. It was a 6 hour bus to São Paulo, we had 2 stops. Got in about 4pm and bought our tickets for the 6.30pm overnight bus to Iguazzu Falls. This was a 15 hour bus with 4 stops. It was fine, you've a lot more room than on a plane and the seats recline back very far. Still not the same as your own bed ...
