... but I'll still need to visit the bank soon. Anyways, we ended up sitting in a car for 5.5 hours. I'm definitely over driving. Luckily, I read a book on my iPad, but of course it ran out of battery. Finally we arrived in Hua Hin. I had read that this is a sleepy city that was voted best place to retire. ... No photos were allowed in the temple. Bought a small Jade budda at the temple. Back down at the mid level temple I saw the Buddha I could relate to, I think he was the rotund, happy, money Buddha. At this mid level section there was a large colony of monkeys. Remember the commercial Annie did, "the monkey stole my camera!". There were a few shots of the Buddhas at the base of the stairs. Went to a Pala U Waterfall, and trekked up it for a bit. Apart form the rain this was really enjoyable. We did look for wild elephants too but unfortunately all we found was wild elephant poo! In the evening we went to a restaurant run exclusively by lady boys.
