Got up early and went for a jog along hua hin beach. Great wide beach and reflect for running. Had the most amazing breakfast then headed out to catch a tuk tuk to chopstick hill or monkey mountain, where there is a temple and a large gold Buddha!!! Mountain is full of monkeys running around. Walked back across the beach until rain came on then we headed up to the road and found a salon ...

... with another strong tailwind we got there in less than an hour. Seeing Starbucks on the way in we knew we were in for some creature comforts, always welcome. Our guesthouse was a good deal, and the owner very kind, even letting us keep the bikes in the kitchen overnight. The next morning we woke up and had breakfast at the hostel: the toast had smiley faces and coffee cups! We then went to MBK which is their shopping mall and has seven levels, it was insane! Their food court definitely put the ones back home to shame; it seemed more like restaurant booths where you could choose from ...
