Hello again, friends! Today, a lifelong dream was fulfilled: I made friends with elephants. These are some of the most incredible creatures on this planet; they're smart, friendly, lovable, and terrifying all at the same time. And we got to spend a day with them. Crazy. Just crazy. So here's how the day went.

This is a place where there are lots of tigers around in pens (not a massive fan of this but was told it was worth a visit) and you can go and touch them. Apparently they aren't drugged they just feed them every two hours to keep them lethargic and happy which I believe as they were pretty ...

Overnight airplane ride (10 1/2 hours) over Europe & Asia. The kids fell asleep and did great. Arrived in Bangkok, but no photos allowed at the airport. Our driver was waiting for us, and after 3 1/2 hours we arrived in Hua Hin. Long day! It is very hot and humid, and John is hoping to melt some pounds off. We stopped at a 7 Eleven. It has been years! The villa is beautiful and well appointed, and after cooling off in the pool we went to ...
