    ... hostel. I went out that evening for dinner with a British woman, and went back to bed.

    as the hostel didn't have any air conditioning, the windows were just covered with mesh with no glass or covering, meaning the rain came into my bed onto the end of it and my feet through the night. By this point, i was looking forward to getting out of there.

    In downtown tourist central

    I woke up on the early side this morning, to blissful quiet. Playa del Carmen is so far east in this time zone that the sun rises and sets much earlier than elsewhere in Mexico. I set out for some breakfast, enjoying the peace and quiet of a party town that hadn't woken up yet from the night before.     We wake feeling very refreshed and see Curtis and Purto sleeping and look like they are having a rough time. We head to breakfast, eat our tortillas with Nick and Joel before heading to Oxxo for a coffee and more food. We get back to find Curtis and Karman up and have a chat about their night.
