From Roswell we drive to Carlsbad Caverns. The caverns are on the Unesco world heritage list, so we decide to pay them a visit. Located 250 meters under ground are loads of stalagmites, stalactites, draperies, soda straws and popcorn. Soda straws being the tiny ones hanging from the ceiling . In Europe we call them Spaghetti. Popcorn are located on the ground. The cavern is beautiful, but we saw an even more beautiful cavern in Slovenia last year, so were a little spoilt. ...

Hi! How is everyone? We are all still wired from the sugar that we have consumed and continue to consume. :) We have had some wonderful celebrations for Miss Addy P's birthday. It was so much fun. We had a celebration with just Addy, Mama, and Baba on her actual birthday. Then we went to Mama's work and celebrated again. Then, we had the family party! ... Business on FF points which made the 15 1/2 hour journey much more pleasant.
It seems that immigration is testing all self-serve passport scanning/photo identification for Express Card Holders only. It had about a 60% failure rate so we ended up in a single queue which took about an extra 15 mins to get through Customs compared to the old system!

Had some quality time in the Qantas Lounge - a couple of glasses ...

I found the merchandise to be very fairly priced, of course, some merchandise was more expensive than others, however, it all depends on what you are looking to purchase.
