Thanksgiving with the whole Siebenaler family was great!! However the 5am start at Macy's the following morning and then a shift at the restaurant wasn't so great. Ha!

Another bluejackets game planned for the 14th (box tickets . . . free alcohol, loving it!!). Then I leave for the North, flying out from Detroit!!!! Can't really describe how excited I am about coming home . . . it's pretty ridiculous.

... is obessed with gloves and keeping them on so I bought her some new ones with fingers rather than the mittens. She was too worried about losing the mittens and asked us every five seconds to fix them!
~ Uncle Bob came over to take our Christmas picture and all Talia wanted to do was play with Aunt Cheryl! She didn't want to have anything to do with us or get her picture taken!
~ She is learning her ABC's and she skips L,M,N,O and just says, o-o-o-o- P!

... Brian and Claire and Kyla. She did great meeting everyone and was very friendly! The only thing she was scared of were the escalators. My mom and I drove to our house with Talia in a car seat next to Kyla. She did great in the car seat! I was worried because car seats are non-existant in Ukraine.

July 3d Friday- We both had trouble sleeping last night so at midnight I took a PM pill, and at 3 AM I gave Charlie a real sleeping pill. Off to sleep for both of us – I was up at 9- a real sleep in for me, and Charlie didn’t wake till 11:15! Got up early to catch our plane back the the States. We had a layover in Boston, which got delayed for weather. The flight back was uneventful. Dad picked us up at the airport and we filled him in on all of our trip adventures. We were really tired and jet-lagged when we got back to Ohio, so it was an early night.
What a great trip!

... That airport is so dirty and old and is not comforting to travelers! Has some drinks at the only open cafe in the entire airport as we waited for our flight. We then had to move to another terminal to catch our next flight. The flight to Dublin took off at 0700 the next morning so we were in Ireland bright and early!

Note - this update is being done almost 14 months after the events portraied here, due to my notebook's hardware failure ...hour now adjusted to 'local' time... So yea, little old me, almost literally lost in Newark's Liberty International airport, waiting for a flight that was supposed to be at 4:45 pm, and ended up being delayed. We were being served by a particularly scary character who gave the appearance of being someone who was waiting tables because it was deemed that he was too much of a psycho to be in the marines anymore. His response to 'Potato skins please' may have been "Of course, thank you" but all I could hear was, "SIR! POTATO SKINS, SIR" followed by a clicking of heels before marching towards the kitchen.
