The road made its way up through a few old and wonderful streets of ancient Italian towns which certainly made it interesting but eventually there was a barrier across the road with a notice on it saying "Road closed, trespassers will be fined" and so it was back down the way I had just come all the way to Bormio.

We are now traveling around with a massive bag of apples, so Daniela and I have decided we will make it a challenge to see if we can all finish them before we leave Italy! Cecilia (Daniela's sister) cooked us dinner at Daniela's house, and the boys were very happy that Igor came too. They have grown quite fond of him! Photos on Paul's phone so will have to add them ...

    A rainy day!

A travel blog entry by bec-paul on Oct 13, 2014

Today it rained nearly all day!!! We shouldn't complain really as we've had such good weather so far. So after a peaceful breakfast by ourselves, we picked up the kids who'd had a sleepover. We then took them for a look through the markets, that were set up throughout the main shopping strip just for today. They are really big markets that come once a year and I remember them from ...
