        ... so lazy that most would rather forget about the dollar than actually walk back to put their cart in the right place. You also have to bring your own bags to the store or buy them there which is great. They don't like to be wasteful of anything here. Everyone recycles: bottles, cans, paper, cardboard, etc. It all has it's place and it's frowned upon if you don't obey the rules they have for it. You also get 25 cents per bottle ...

        ... for a couple of hours then they took us into town. They showed us around the sights and took us out for dinner. Vicky wanted us to stay the night but our bikes were tied up at the train station. What a wonderful visit.
        Hannover is very pretty with lots of green spaces. We will have to come back to see more of the sights and visit our family again one day. ...

        Dave got up earlier in the morning than Ann and Melody, that is normal. the plan for today is to rent a car, go shopping and relax; no real sight seeing. First thing in the morning with Benta's help Dave rented a car on line from Europcar. We will be picking it up at the train station at five this evening.

        ... up but rather was like a car on a rail that changed direction up a tube. You could see out of the the top and bottom of the car. Only five people were allowed in the elevator at a time. Getting to the top of the elevator there were stair but not as many as yesterday.
