What a glorious morning we awoke to in Schwulper. Blue sky, and brilliant sunshine - apparently an extraordinary November day! I do believe that we have been blessed all along the way on this amazing trip. After a lazy morning having brunch with Werner and Lydia and packing again, we set off for Tostedt via rail from Braunschweig to Hanover to Hamburg. Expected arrival is @ 4:42 - and the trains DO run on time. We have ...

Today is Sunday and we were privileged to go to the church of our hosts, that is the Baptist church in Schoerningen. Bernie is opening the meeting and sharing in some of the procedure. Another morning begins in Oker Strasse, Schwulper; a seemingly sleepy and countryfied Village 9 kilometres North of Braunschweig.

Breakfast is followed by a visit fro Lydia's Hairdresser who is prepared to cut my hair for 9Euros before she cuts and sets Lydia’s hair.

By 9:45 Werner and I head of to visit the City centre of Braunschweig where many historic buildings and explanations await. Werner is a profound History and Art Lecturer ...

Hello to Braunschweig - my Birthplace

It's Autumn in North Germany. The cooler weather and fog is evidence that I may use one of the inherited jackets from Aunty Mia, to venture out with my hosts and experience the family program that awaits me.

A leisurely start to the day – intensive discussions with Lydia over issues of faith. She retreated to watch her favourite Joyce Myers on 'God Channel’ via satellite Dish.

We drove to the house of Uncle Hans ...
