Due to circumstances we no longer have a place planned for new year but KL seems to work quite well for us in terms of flights to Vietnam, so at the moment the plan is to return here for new year. Weekend in Malaysia
... as we explored the grounds it was foggy at what it looked like a deserted theme park a few days before Halloween.

Caitlin and I went to the Batu Caves. We walked up the steps and I lost count even though they were numbered. There were monkeys everywhere and we luckily didn't have any trouble with them stealing or bothering us.
We took a bus back to Singapore and the TVs worked on this bus!

So apart from shopping and eating and adjusting to the time-zone change, I didn't really seem to do much else in KL. In fact, I seemed to spend half my time there trying to figure out how to pack my bag properly - my two-year traveling hiatus certainly seems to have rustied up my backpacking skills! I'm all sorted for now though, traveling ...
