... the officer apparently believed him and drove away after taking George’s driver’s license information. We knew that the neighbors were connected to the Police Department so were not surprised when one of them called in the "strange" vehicle parked in the driveway. It was nice to know that the “neighborhood watch” works. Our tale gave Peg and Bud a good laugh.

We came back to Milford and then drove to Wilton (the next town over) to go to the Wilton Town Hall Theater. It is a small theater on the second floor of the Town Hall that has been showing movies there since the 1920s (and the decor hasn't changed in ...
... My mind has too much going on in it! It rained all night and is still raining. We did the breakfast things and then I got on computer- We did a bit on the genealogy stuff and then out in the rain for a few chores and to see the town. A neat old town with a lot of history (Amherst NH), back home in the rain, talked and did more genealogy, had a family dinner and just a comfortable family night. And it is still raining. I called Wayne and Ro and will see them when I leave here.

... of his van. Steve went across to see if he had lost his overnight.... But he was French-from Quebec and didn't speak very good English. He was also rushing to get away. Then it dawned on us that it was a bit of a coincidence that his was missing and he was parked opposite us and there wasn't anyone parked either side of us. We had gone to bed quite early and it was pretty dark outside. So maybe he took it for himself ...
Concord, New Hampshire, United States manningnz... s leaving a few days before me, and I'm just the littlest bit jealous. But it's only four days... and come the 15th I'll get to spend 30 (or so) hours in the air... yee-haw! Then it'll be a whole new world: 18 hours difference in time, about 85 parallels south of where I'm sitting right now, and for the first month or so it'll be summer! I'm sure I'll write another entry before I leave because it's one of the few things I'm able to think about these days. So until then! Lisa
