Love this Boutique Hotel. We arrived around 6:30 pm - beautiful rooms, lovely supper, awoken to birds and a rooster.

We spent the day exploring the area in Brasilto, Playa Flamingo, Playa Potrero. I think you definitely need a vehicle to go out and exploring. We are also interested in either living here full time or part time. Our definitely favourite area is Playa Flamingo, it appeared this was the highest concentration of people/tourists in the area. It took us …

We arrived 3 hours later than our original flight time. The airport is quite small, very nice, very friendly people. We exchanged some of our money at the money exchange booth, didn't do too good, but definitely didn't want to be without the local currency. ... my Honduras night dive because we actually swam for 5 minutes with no lights and the phosphorus plankton lit everything up. It was like being in a glittery space. Unfortunately the photographers still had their strobes on and we were on the line so it wasn't quite as special. I kind of swam off a metre or two and turned my back to the lights so I could enjoy it though. So it was still nice. One rather large problem though. I had been lent one of ...

      ... is a bit
like Colombia when it comes to food – long on quantity, short on quality and
taste. And like everything else here in Costa Rica it doesn’t come cheap, no
sir. About double what we would pay for the same thing back home. Fortunately,
we stocked the car with beer and wine before leaving Panama….

Next morning it was back up to the volcano car park, pay our
