      As some people know, I'm sometimes very indecisive.  Fear makes me think I'm going to make a wrong decision, so have committed to our first hotel!  Every review I have read looks amazing, we cannot wait to start our journey with this beach hotel.

      ... have to paddle across a river that has crocodiles in it… if I said I wasn't intimidated I'd be telling fibs….

      Tamarindo power was turned off for 7 hours!! Apparently a major upgrade…have decided to go to San Jose as I have surfed my chest raw!! again!

      Tips for travellers:

      ... to dive with Laura again but I should have maybe sent her with Jade or Zack and one of them come with me because as we were going round the corner of our rock formation we ran into Jade and Zack who had clearly gotten extremely lost trying to find the shark channel and went utterly the wrong way! We even got a bit confused because we were meant to go to the wreck and ended up surfacing instead! On the way back I saw yet another puffer fish completely inflated, thankfully ...

      ... a cold/flu when your diving just does not work. If your sinuses are blocked it means you often can't get down under the water or it really hurts and you struggle to get down. I'm going to see how I feel tomorrow but it's looking like I won't be able to do search and recovery again! I swear that course is cursed haha we've had to push them back so many times because of the cold, Martin being ill, me being ill twice! I swear we'll never get it ...

      ... in Costa Rica but the country is only around 200 kms wide. Along the way we saw
      our first snake crossing the road. Didn’t know what it was, venomous or not but
      best avoided.
