Love this Boutique Hotel. We arrived around 6:30 pm - beautiful rooms, lovely supper, awoken to birds and a rooster.

We happily slept in this morning, knowing we had a fairly short drive to the small beach town of Brasilito, which is very close to our golfing venue for tomorrow and reputed to have a snorkeling beach. Plus, we need to visit some of Costa Rica's famous beaches to round out our experience. As we drove away from the Hotel Las Espuelas, we were …

We spent the day exploring the area in Brasilto, Playa Flamingo, Playa Potrero. I think you definitely need a vehicle to go out and exploring. We are also interested in either living here full time or part time. Our definitely favourite area is Playa Flamingo, it appeared this was the highest concentration of people/tourists in the area. We exchanged some of our money at the money exchange booth, didn't do too good, but definitely didn't want to be without the local currency. We went through the doors to get our luggage, hoping we weren't going to get swarmed by …

He came here 10 years ago and was about to leave when he met his wife. We met an awesome poolside waiter named Juan Diego and Cindy. Cindy is studying to be an English teacher here in Costa Rica and speaks pretty good English. We were bouncing our Spanish off of her.

... the mooring I was still proud of us all for getting back there. I had to keep getting us all to ascend a little bit though because we only had about 8 minutes of time left before we would have hit our no deco time (not good). So after we'd washed all of the gear when we got back I went on a mission to get my bike back that was still locked to the shop! Thankfully Dan who owns Coconutz had some bolt cutters so I finally managed to get my bike back! Yay no more ...
