The sun is shining and the skies are clear blue as we head off for the day. First stop is the town of Domodossola; the largest town in the area. After a short walk around the older part of the town we then head back to Piedimulara to visit Gilberto's mother and brother. His brother speaks English a bit but his mum doesn't, however I still understand her when she wants to know if the boots I have on were the ones I wore yesterday to walk up the mountain. They weren't my ...

Today we get to see what happens in their facility. Davide graciously picked us up from our hotel to bring us over to Luigi Guffanti. We began the day with some cheese education while drinking coffee before we ...

... higher concentration of houses on the other coast. Either way, it was a cool ride back.

Once we were back in Como, we took the Funicolare to the top of the hill for an elevated, panoramic view of the lake and city. We didn’t spend too much time up there – it was a bit hazy so the view wasn’t as good as it could be (though it still wasn’t bad!). The Funicolare itself is pretty awesome – it’s ...
