      I started the day with a run since I have been very inconsistent in the past three weeks and I’m starting to worry about whether I can still do the Tararu Creek hill. The sun was low in the sky so it was a perfect time to take photos of Valdemars Slot, the castle on the edge of the village.

      We woke up to rain again today. We drove into Odense because our hotel is over 5K from downtown. We tried parking in a lot but our credit cards would not work (not Danish VISA) so drove around until I found some free parking. Our decision to stay in Odense was because this is the birthplace of Hans Christian Andersen. We visited the museum which is very good.       ... another ... of bad events!

      The baggage area is absolutely flowing this misplaced baggage; some from flights several days old.
      My suitcase does not appear. And I begin to make a mental note of what was in the suitcase. All my photo gear is of cause in my carry-on case (the Peli-case).
      I go to the missing baggage counter a take a number; like the approximately 50 other travellers and wait. I pick a spot where I can see ...

      ... and I ended up getting lost with no phone signal or internet to access a map.
      I was stressing! But having spend half a year in Hamburg back in 2008 I headed in the general direction and asked a policeman by the road on Reeperbahn. Sorted! Back on track with 20 minutes to go.

      I made it and checked in with shaking hands. Parked the bike with some other 20 or so motorbikes waiting to get loaded onto ...
