    Ok so getting used to the prices in Scandinavia, but this was a little steep and I was comitted, still easy check in via a machine and just pitch up.
    If you're new to driving on the continent I'd probably warm up somewhere else, as the trams aren't slow!
    Didn't have time for the funfare was enjoying some of the bendy roads I found.

    ... few connecting roads but the city is designed around transit, bikes and of course walking. There is very little traffic even at rush hour. One is surprised to see the amount of shopping considering the population.

    Part of the city is an island served by the transit system with ferries.

    ... to all of us. It also means you can pluck flowers, fruits and herbs inside forests and such as well.

    Anyhow, the 'allmansrätten' is why we decided to go right, which was a good decision. It was really quiet and beautiful, there was this one point where the 'trees' formed this tunnel which then made you feel really small. After that path we got to the sea-lions, who looked very cute. What I liked most was when they would pop up in between the ice of their enclosure. ...

    ... a bit of a down day... We will head into downtown Gothenburg at a leisurely pace and do some shopping (!!!!!) and see this lovely city. I think that it would be nice to come back and spend a good chunk of time here...perhaps the only downside of a trip like this is the small glimpse you get of a place and then you are gone.
