        This is a simple hotel, with simple rooms, with a simple breakfast, that will do job.
        If you want a pool, a breakfast with 3 miles and a runaway to put the car...this is not what you are looking for.

        ... is named for the Teatro alla Scala, a world renowned opera house dating from 1778 (though rebuilt in 1946 after being severely damaged in WWII). With daylight fading, we chose to hit one more attraction, that being Castello Sforzesco, which at one time was the residence of the Duke of Milano. Dating from 1450, this also required significant repairs due to bombing damage incurred in WWII. It now houses several city museums ...

        I was going to take some pictures of the apartment to add to this post since I talked about Ikea, but I'm so worn out from the Italian class that I don't want to clean my room. It's gotten a little messy these past few days with how busy I've been. I'll have time to clean tomorrow or the next day and then I will put up some photos of the apartment!

        ... usual mode of transport & caught the bus home after 1.30. It was a day filled with so many laughs & memories & for Jazza the backpacker, it was, as they say, "And now for something completely different!".

        I'd asked Greg when he said he would sponsor my ticket if I was pushing my luck by asking if I could stay in his hotel room ... he replied I was. Anyhow, after some drinks on the square, Greg & I had headed back ...
