... Alison bought a small leather change purse for €2 to replace her stolen wallet. Then it was back to enjoy the pool at the timeshare. We spent a very relaxing day enjoying each others company, sunbathing in the heat of the day, before heading back to Girona airport with Chris & Milly at night, so that they could catch their flight back to London. Our farewells weren’t too teary, as we knew we would see them again in two weeks, in Auckland.

The timeshare (Port de Rei) is situated a short distance out of the town of L'Escala. We drove through town following Dora’s directions, but were not too sure where we were headed, eventually ending up outside a large building built on a rugged coast overlooking the Mediterranean.
