We followed him (or her) around for a little while as he(she) frolicked in the sea grass, occasionally coming up for air only meters from us. It was incredible.

We encountered several more of these beauties in the shallow, warm Atlantic waters, as well as stingrays and a few other "locals"to the waters.

From PDC I caught the bus to Chetumel on the border with Belize then the ferry to Caye Caulker in Belize, the Mexicans have a great bus company ADO that has luxury buses to everywhere, the trip was very easy. The ferry or water taxi as they are called was also quite simple, the sea was quite smooth so we made the trip in good time. Yesterday I began the Chinese visa application for real. I started gathering the necessary documents and reading up on what I need to do. On Sunday, I'm flying to Sweden for a week of holiday with the main purpose to apply for the visa.
