The Mini had earned a day at the beach after lots of challenging mountain roads so we headed off to La Herradura and Marina del Este.

... and spices (like a Swiss raclette), followed by a hot fish seafood soup. Back to the beach for siesta! At 7:30pm the beach cushions were being gathered up, so we had to move! We sat down for a drink outdoors at our hotel.
I nearly choked on my tea when the customer near me at the little boutique dropped his pants to try on different shorts on sale. This was ...
... And also hats off to all of us as we eventually all managed to grab a quick siesta....
Fortunately the rest of the Booths visit was less eventful. It's warming up very nicely here now and they slept out under the stars for a couple of nights but had to come in to where normal people sleep at about 4 am. They were disturbed by the barking dogs and feeling that the insects were having an early breakfast ..¡qué ...
... real shopping} and bought a small bottle of Malaga's sweet wine. We also considered a Cuban cigar for Dave, but thought we could have issues at customs. A picture will have to do! We sampled the wine, a stout dessert sherry, and some cookies on our veranda before heading out for Indian cuisine for dinner. Back at the apartment early to pack up and prepare for our return to reality tomorrow!
... knows what he's doing as the "gust" (it's ************g enough to enjoy that description) only lasts for about 5 seconds, but he gets the parachute fully inflated and soars away towards Nerja. For a few moments, he's a spectacular sight against the backdrop of the mountains and the coast, before he becomes a dot in the distance.
The rest of us have to descend by more conventional means and, no, I wasn't the last one back!
