... to old stone buildings it makes for great exhibition spaces. We really enjoyed exploring many of the city's narrow streets in the old part of the city. Here you can still see the glass enclosed balconies so common in Galicia. I also managed some retail therapy at Zara, and we enjoyed a cold glass (yes Janet a glass) of Moscato at the end of a long day of walking.

... bus route was just brilliant - it took you through gorges, past sheer cliff faces, alongside mountains and farms etc etc.

We got to Fuente Te and took the cable car into the clouds. Shame we were unable to see the last 150 m but nevertheless it was excellent.

When we got back to San Vicente we enjoyed some local delicacies. A most enjoyable day.

... and businesses even close for a few hours in the afternoon for their daily "siesta." This nap keeps Spaniards awake until the late hours of the night. They do not even think about dinner until 8 at night (and most do not eat until 10)! After my afternoon siesta, some friends, Emily, and I went to Pizza Hut because lately, we have been feeling homesick. We miss our friends, family, and normal ...

We stayed in Santander at anchor and enjoyed a chill day - basically did nothing but rest and read. We're in no particular hurray.

In the morning we headed off for San Vicente. It was a very pleasant passage. Very little wind and swell, so we motored most of the the way. In the background we could see the Picos but the visibility wasn't the best, so photos would not do justice showing off this wonderful coastline.

We got to San Vicente ...
