Here we sit on the most beautiful white beach. Lachlan is running around in huge circles on the beach while Bastion digs holes. Andrew is "supervising" and I am writing this bloody blog. Jet fighters and Blue Angels roar overhead. I don't know of there is anywhere else better on our whole trip! Maybe if it was warmer (it is supposed to warm up tomorrow), it would be perfect. We saw cotton being harvested; even picked some myself to bring home and picked a bunch of fresh satsumas from niece Julie's tree (they are soooooo sweet and juicy!) and kumquats; there were peanut fields, pecan orchards and lots of fruit/produce stands. It's a great place to walk, when I go out one morning at 7:30am it is 74 degrees, with 84% humidity! Forget trying to do anything ...

Now all of us amateur photographers know that that is almost unheard of. Photographers are notorious for keeping their photography places a well kept secret, so this was really great. ... reason, we were not allowed to take pictures from the outside (no one explained why), but photography inside the building was okay. This was a really cool place and its mission is to “receive, develop, archive, and distribute satellite or aircraft imagery of the Earth’s surface” to the military, NASA (or whoever will be replacing NASA), NOAA and quite a few other agencies.
