... I was thinking how blessed we are to have been born into our families in our country! How fortunate that we could chose to have four children if we wanted to - that we now have young people in our family, who enrich our lives in so many ways . . . We went to Thousand-Buddha Hill (Qianfoshan) today. Many steps to climb to see several temples, including the huge Xingguochan Temple, the beautiful Maitreya Buddha and the lying Buddha with a Swastika on his chest, and a cave of 130 buddha statues.

Had a pizza in a lovely German restaurant by the river.

We have our first train experience tomorrow. We have heard that they can be quite an 'experience' so I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Thinking in might be tough to stream the Rugby but we'll give it a good nudge. Having a fabulous time. Thanks for reading ...
