    ... this is a nice motorhome park (it should be it is one of the more expensive we have stayed in but they have nice pads), there are a lot of monthly RVs here and it must be quite chilly in the winter as the monthlys have large propane tanks and the bottom of their rigs are wrapped.

  • Our wake up call at the hotel got us up at 6
  • We played rock paper scissors to see who would take their shower first.
  • Got the free continental breakfast at 6:30.
  • Free ice from the machine at 7:30
  • Back on the road heading toward the music festival at 8 A.M.

    ... in an early heavy snow storm in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and nearly half of the emigrants perished - some resorting to eating their animals and deceased members of their group. It was horrific. We continued east on Hwy 80 and after crossing miles and miles of salt flats, we finally reached Great Salt Lake and the KOA Camp in Salt Lake City. Cost: $95.23 for 2 nights. It's a beautiful campground and the sun is shining. Looking forward to see what tomorrow ...
