Denmark can be summed up with four words: family, eat, drink, sleep! We had a great time with the Danish family and they made sure that we wouldn't be hungry for about 2 months. The days were filled with eating yummy Danish food, playing games, watching football, short walkings at the beach and drinking beer / red wine. Very enjoyable and relaxing after a busy few weeks getting ready to leave the UK. Hours on the train: 17.5 Countries visited: ...

We visited the church which is the highest point on the island to get a great view of the villages, countryside and surrounding sea. The church is also the final resting place of the nobles who have owned much of the island for many centuries. They get a whole wing of the church for their stone caskets.

Kirsten cooked us another amazing meal of local food accompanied by a bottle of Cloudy Bay Eric found.
