Bea was taken to see H. C. Andersen's House and behind the scenes at the Opera, while my inner kid came out again with a visit to the Danish Train museum.



The train museum is worth the visit. Some very nice exhibits here.


Followed by a WET drive down to Ølstykke ( A piece of beer).

... island of Ærø, where she grew up. Her parents speak very little English, but somehow we managed to communicate and with Nanna as translator we had many laughs during the lavish meals her parents served us. Mom had made beautiful quilts for the three kids and had mailed them in January, with a little note: "Do not open until I get there!" The boys were so excited to open their gifts and they played for ages on their new quilts… We wonder if the quilts will ...

So I was given the opportunity to attend this event and be part of the "crew". It was a 1 week long event filled with all different types of gymnastics workshops as well as performances from gymnastics clubs from all over Europe. There were about 4200 participants! Oh and it was held in Odense in Denmark. I taught workshops in acrobatics with 3 other girls from Ollerup. In total we taught about 950 gymnasts throughout the week who were all ...

... out to her parents place to see their house and garden. It was beautiful surrounded by fields we picked some asparagus for dinner from their veggie patch. Katherine had been trying to find a special pan for making danish pancakes while we have been in Odense. Charlotte asked her mum if she knew of anywhere were we could find one and she said "look in the window!". There were not one, nor two but three sitting in their. Katetine got to have her pick of them, so we got the lightest one.
