      9/11 memorial and a most unusual piece of theatre!

      The 9/11 memorial was as moving as you would expect from those that were witness to that fateful day and all its ramifications. The memorial is done really well and what touched me the most was the survivor tree - a blackened stump that came out of the rubble, was nursed back to health and stands proud amongst the other trees at the memorial.

      ... saw places like where Ernest Hemingway lived in New York, and where John Wilkes Booth visited New York before heading to DC to shoot President Lincoln! After that we headed up towards Bleeker Street, and had a great lunch. We both had toasted cheese sandwiches from Murray's cheese, where there was a bit of a wait but it was totally worth it.       ... ahead and booked the tickets anyway. I knew I would be on a winner! How right I was.

      After our big day walking around NYC (Museum, Central Park, 5th Avenue etc.) we decided to grab a NY Yellow cab down to the theatre, grab dinner and then head off to the show. What a night! Another case of Marion smiling ear to ear all night. To be fair, the show was spectacular, and being on Broadway seemed to make it even better.

      ... groups waiting ahead of me, but I was seated easily without a reservation at that hour. They manage to fit a lot of tables into a smallish space, so you will be in close proximity to others. They always bring over a sample of the smoothie of the day to start with and today it was pineapple, orange, banana.
