      It was a nice easy drive to General Coffee State Park in Nicholls, Ga. The park is nice but only 2 other campers beside the host are here. All the sites are pull-thrus with water and electric only. We are relaxing before we go see our grandchildren in Crawfordville, Florida.

      ... to bloom. This wildlife refuge has an extensive series of "trails" that are all on the water. Canoe, kayak or motor boat. Definitely NO SWIMMING!
      The water is really black and kind of eerie. Would not want to be in this swamp at night. Enjoy the photos. ...

      ... and only a few birds, but no people, which is fine. The trail, surprisingly, has a few hills. There are a few new species of trees here and the informational signs always teach us a bit. There are cypress trees here, which we haven't seen in a while. The swamp section of the river is very beautiful. I posted a video on Facebook that you may wish to check out.       Anyway, it was time for us to leave Florida and head off to Georgia to see alligators and perhaps beavers if Marie-Claire was right about where she saw them.
