A travel blog entry by skirkpatrick on Aug 10, 2015

In the final stages of planning our August 24 month long adventure in France. We will be landing in Paris at CDG airport on the morning of the 25th and trying to somehow find our way to the train station where we will get a train to Amiens - our first stop on our adventure.

Want to experience the adventure of traveling without preset places to stay, but geez luize it is kind of scary so am trying to put together a loose itinerary with lots of freedom built in - ...

We found the :Monongahela Incline" and a return trip was only $3.50 each (2.25). It is a very old incline system built in 1870 and is one of two inclines remaining from a time when the city had 15! It has a length ...

    ... cool mountain air!

Back into more of the eastern traffic with 'dueling semis" truck passing each other but not without backing up traffic. Ugh.

Put in our LAST book on CD for the day.

11:23 AM - Indiana. Terre Haute. ("lose" another hour, time-wise, somewhere here)

12:40 AM - Indianapolis, IN. Stopped east of the city for quick lunch at Burger King.
