oils and spices and you are already in Africa.. Oh the bliss.. the madness of
Adam's Morgan! Just a street with no barriers and love for only fun, food and
music. There was no way I wasn't going to enjoy as much of this street as I

Can't believe it's all over tomorrow ...

We got up at 5:45am with our usual ritual of me having to kick Tim repeatedly to wake up; as I have to do every week day morning at home. Before leaving our room, I found myself putting my newly purchased make up in the safe; as Tim looked at me with a mixture of puzzlement & horror (that he may have just witnessed me going crazy) I justified myself by saying it was the most I'd ever spent on cosmetics & I didn't want them to be stolen. There, I actually said it ...

CHAPTER 12: Hanging around in the capital!

... could live here forever". The most eerie feeling was watching the eternal flame lit by Jackie Kennedy when she buried JFK that was still lit above her own grave, next to JFK's and two of their children's. While at Arlington, we caught the end of the service for the unknown soldier. A 21 gun salut began the ceremony, we heard it from JFK's gravesite. A brass band played Star-Spangled Banner and a laying of a wreath ended the ceremony. A ...
