Arriving in Washington, D.C. after a cruise train ride from NYC we found more unseasonably warm weather although it was quite windy. We visited the Arlington national cemetery where those who have served the nation including many famous are buried. Over 400,000 are buried there including Robert E Lee and a number of the Kennedy's. Up early from our stop overnight in a Walmart Carpark (free). It was actually quite comfortable and I enjoyed it in their large, clean car park. ... at the Museum movie). The memorial is amazing. There's giant pillars, his speeches written on the side walls, and a giant 9ft statue of him in his chair. At the front of the memorial is also an engraved stone on the ground, where Martin Luther King gave his 'I have a dream' speech. Pretty darn awesome :).
