I had made many a trips to Big Bear during the snowboarding season being that it is really the only place you can do a day trip from Vegas. However a few times we got the luxury of having a place to crash for the night. Only Teresa and I would somehow manage to be able to make a crash pad out of Oscar de la Hoyas Big Bear cabin and training compound. The two of us and usually 15 or so of the worlds best fighters under one roof..... we consider ourselves very lucky ladies :)

Big Bear Lake, California, United States bigbearlakeDropped our loaded trailer at the Fontana Werner terminal. Found a truck stop and had a shower, apparently they don't really care if drivers smell or not because the charged $9.75 for the shower, and I couldn't get any hot water, but am cleaner. Picked up our load for Walmart, looks like fruit. oranges, lemons, grapefruit and stuff..We are taking it to Sterling Illinois.
Fontana, California, United States golicon... information, and the last one was to learn about the qualcomm. This is a computer system that you log everything you do, have done are doing where you are, what problems you have etc. Yes a big brother.... Now I will wait till I get a phone call telling me when and where to meet my driver trainer. Hopefully soon.

We are still heading West, this weekend we 'popped' over to San Bernardino, California! We better be careful or soon we will be in the Ocean.
Jesses cousin Sara graduated from highschool so we took the opportunity to scream and shout in public and attended the graduation. They had gowns, caps and all. They even threw their caps in the air like in the movies. We have to tell you, each day is just like another movie scene unrolling in front of you, hillarious ...
... it's got a name?) apart!!! The others all got more than me, but I was happy. Next it was to the Rotary Club of Victorville, where we again enjoyed MORE food and chatted with the locals, before presenting another fine presentation. Well done team. Following that, it was a presentation and substantial tour of the Southern Califonia Logistics Airport (SCLA) by local Rotarian, Dick Cole. Saw a ...

PC got back to camp well after my first Greyhound bus had left from San Bernardino. Finally to the Greyhound station took us somebody else. At the station we found out that all the tickets for the bus at 5:30 pm have been sold. The next bus was going to depart around midnight. We took a cab to the Metrolink station. From ...
Running Springs, California, United States bogna... I apologise to all of those present that evening. Our last day was spent doing the cheesey things you have to do when in L.A. We went on a tour of famous peoples house, saw Mann's Chinese Theatre (where the hand prints are), the avenue or the stars, the Hollywood sign and went to use the bathroom in the Regent Hotel (from Pretty Woman fame). All very lame but fabulous none the less.Ellie
Los Angeles, California, United States pinkfizz... multiplied by a thousand, lots of pretend hippies. A massive population of homless people, and a MASSIV population of absolute nutcases. I've never ever seen more nutcases on the one street in my life. It's almost as if they try to out do each other by being crazy. Venice obviously had it's hey day in the late 70's moving into the 80's where it stopped. There are men rollerblading in G ...
