He hit the road right after grabbing a bite and filling up the gas. We have about a 4 to 5 hour drive ahead of us and I'm determined to do it in less. I am amazed at how beautiful the state of New York is. I think you always think of the city and forget about the state. We came through Geneva and Seneca valley on the way to Watkins glen. The GPS took us on all back roads coming home and then into a loop around Hass rd, Windsor Castle rd and some other road hence the title of this blog - we needed to reset it and pretend were going to DC until we got onto a numbered route Gabrielle was familiar with.

... I think there were more people in "altered states of mind" than anyone else! Luckily the people on the bus itself were relatively normal. The bus trip to Bethlehem took about 2.5 hours but once I got there I had to wait an hour for a taxi! I’m so used to seeing taxis everywhere that it was really strange to be somewhere where there were hardly any!
