... lots of treasures we hadn't seen in other antique malls and Robin and I both came away with a treasure. Robin with a large (heavy!) owl figurine made from ebony wood and I with a small Steiff tiger...lots of different Steiff animals other than just teddy bears - I may have to start collecting!!

Looking forward to our continued adventures tomorrow!

    Ohio on the 4th

With the rain out of the area, we had a great day of exploring and hiking. A morning visit to Shrum Mound, which can be seen roadside at Campbell Park. All was quiet till we reached our first destination - breakfast at the Waffle House. Nothing like some "smothered and covered" to get us ready for the ...

This town is also part of the Canal systems I spoke of earlier. From Here I traveled on to Hocking Hills State Park. This began a week of time without internet access, and limited to no cell reception. This is why these blogs have been missing.

    Jungle Jims journey

We had a great dinner last night with Tom, Gractia and the two kids in Dayton Ohio. They advised us to stop at jungle Jims on our way out, which is not your typical grocery store/ international market/ butcher/ fish market/ liquor store/ cigar shop/ etc... This place was huge! After spending a bit doing some shopping around the world we are off to the Great Smokey Mountain national park to do a little hiking. Tennessee here we ...
