It was only overnight but so very comfortable. We have stayed at Comfort Inns & Suites during our cross-country trip and have been very satisfied.

    Good Morning,

We are on the east coast, Tallahassee FL. It is overcast and drizzling which is the first rain we have seen in months. We have been fortunate to be ahead of the weather while traveling.

It has continued to be a very memorable trip. As in most of our trip we looked for "not so touristy" places to visit and restaurants …

... Tallahassee we saw a sign proclaiming we had now entered the Eastern Time Zone. One hour ahead with the clocks. We are not three hours ahead of home.

We arrived in Tallahassee right around 5:00, which seems to be our norm. Rush hour, of course, I declared. Fortunately, the route we took to get to the Sam's Club, although surface streets, wasn't too bad. We found the place with no problem - the GPS did not fail us this ...

... time we were 10 miles northwest of Fort Pierce, it became evident the ride was NOT going to be smooth below the clouds, so I opted to take the time to climb above for smooth air, rather than get bounced around for another 2.25 hours. Turned out to be a good move, though the tops were somewhere around 10k' MSL, with a few build ups to 11.5k'. No problem navigating around them. It added 15 minutes to our time en route, but the ride was smooth and sights were beautiful ...
