... look around since we weren’t staying but one night. Imagine our surprise when we went to Kansas City, MO to find an exciting, large city. We found a World War I museum and monument but only got to visit the grounds and a little inside. The city amazed us at how big it is and how busy it seemed to be. We rode across the river into Kansas City, KS to look around there but were surprised to find it was not as big or busy as the other Kansas ...

After a fabulous lunch at ...

The drive through St. Louis was picturesque thanks to all the architecture of all the old buildings. Don't bother with the bypass, just drive right through the center of town.

Surprise, surprise! I found a couple of wineries close by so we headed over to try them out.

The first one, Jowler Creek Winery was only 6 miles from the RV Park. They were having a special wine and cheese paring for Mothers Day along with a coupon for a free cupcake at their sister winery in Weston. An offer we (I) couldn't pass up. They had a Norton red wine that is described as the Syrah of the Ozarks. They also ...
