      ... OECD country with poorer intergenerational mobility than the US is the UK which still has vestiges of its class system. It is, like all such data, a blunt measure but what is undeniable is that countries with the most even distribution of wealth do best in providing opportunities for their citizens.       "Reverse Direction" is still a puzzle to us.
      "Wait! Text stop in 5 Miles" were in NY and were just little areas for maybe 3-4 cars to pull off. The sign was repeated every mile and the pull offs were paved so how much $$$.
      65mph on the divided freeways was the speed limit in NY! Slowest on our trip.

      Cold and wet!

      ... to be hot weather all the way!) The locals said it was 95F on Monday, now it was a lot closer to 40F (F is used in the USA rather than C). More layers and a change of jacket solved the cold conditions and a big mug of hot chocolate warmed all my bits back up again. Bridget's heated grips did a fine job of keeping my hands warm whilst riding but on the high setting for most of the way, I ended up with a couple of blisters!
