... be honest given it's location it's actually easy to miss as it's surrounded and does not have a big neon sign and a light shining down on it!! The visit coincided with the 37th Anniversary of the death of the King, which was an amazing day to be there. People were somber and respectful and not the usual tourist pushing and taking photos absolutely everywhere! Graceland was amazing, the man was well before his time with the decor ...

I step out into a crisp, windy Memphis morning to walk Oscar around the Mud Island River Park across the street. True to form, he wastes no time splashing into the ice cold Mississippi River for a morning swim. The thick, dried out brush he pushes through on the water's edge turns out to be thistle so we spend the next half an hour back at the hotel untangling spiky burrs from his coat.

I'm feeling at home here already. ...

... takes us along the river and in to town pointing out interesting things along the way, such as where Dr Martin Luther King was assassinated. Tonight there is a big game in town so the place is going to get busy a little later he warns us and it does but this just adds to the vibe or the place and its fantastic! Dinner tonight is at Flynn's and it looks like the Loosie Sandwiches are the way to go looking at what everyone else is ordering, yep definitely ...

... only met these people and have already spent long days and nights with them, but I have experienced a good part of the United States. Finger lakes was very green, and very scenic as you could probably imagine. It consists of 4 large lakes that stretch from one another, which kind of look like the palm of your hand with your fingers stretching out. When we arrived at the campsite, it was a sweltering 88 degrees, so we went out after pitching our tents ...
