The last time we were in New Orleans was in 1974, for Mardi Gras, so it was nice to see it again. We were pleasantly surprised by what we saw in the downtown area. We didn't have a chance to go out to the areas that were hardest hit by Katrina and I'm sure they are not fine yet.
