We bought a truck to carry the camper today! It needs a little work, but seems basically strong. Once we get it travel-ready, we need to go to Arizona to pick up the camper.
In other news today, we also decided to rent out our house (rather than selling), and selected a property management company.
A huge progress day!
... I decided to take my first seat at a blackjack table, and that's where I met Ol' Fred #1. He attempts to introduce himself, yet he can't quiet pronounce words of the english language. Upon hearing my name for the 5th time (drunken short term memory), he attempts to wail out the lyrics to "Frankie and Johnnie". People at the penny slots were staring. He then calls me and *******, a liberal ****, yet tries to get my phone number, and all seconds before tumbling from his chair to ...
... the car for us anyway. We never did figure out exactly what the event was, but did wonder if the former president would be in attendance.
The next couple of hours we spent acquainting ourselves with the history of his presidency 2001-2009. Among the highlights were a display of metal girders taken from the collapsed World Trade Center. Many photos brought back to life the tragic events in ...
... some KFC for lunch, which we thoroughly enjoyed. One funny thing happened during the afternoon, a Tufted Titmouse kept flying toward Susan's hair and evidently wanted to take some home to make a nest. See one of the attached photos!!!

... This entry is being made from a laundrymat as Durant's only McDonalds has been torn down and a new one is being built in its place (remember - no wifi at the campground).
