The last hurdle in making this trip a reality for me was overcome today. I secured my visa to Japan! Being a Filipino citizen, I have to jump through a few extra hoops when traveling abroad to most countries compared to a U.S. citizen. Well, we are about to start planning for my first independent trip overseas. I am more excited than I have probably ever been. There is a very good possibility that either Bill or I will wind up in jail, or kidnapped by drug bandits, or lost in Patagonia.
