    ... it pointed in the right direction so I guess I learned something at the practice session before the race. When the five laps were done, we got out of the cars and went back to the front. The guy running the race had sheets of paper in his hands and when we were all lined up he started calling names. My name was called first, as it seems I won the race. Woooo Hooooo!     ... walking Thursday night we saw two couples and yesterday we saw someone walking a dog but other than that it was almost a ghost campground. Jerry said he thought part of that could be caused by the fact that there are so many park models meaning permanent people. Still it was a nice campground centrally located and we would definitely go back again. It had a nice pool but we didn't take advantage of that.

    I'm not sure what day it is today. I think it's our sixth ride day? Maybe? We rode from Chapel Hill to Winston-Salem; it was 85-ish miles. Today was a good day. It was long and hard but it was a good day. I got my first flat tire! So that's big news.     ... is indeed a museum although it is a private residence. Our guide was definitely not a Charleston native and although he was very informative it was not the greatest tour.
