      What an excellent day. The weather wasn’t perfect but that’s a good thing because who would want to be driving along the Blue Ridge Parkway when the clouds are so low you don’t have a view anyway?       We stayed for a week at Cross Country Campground outside of Denver, TN, near Lake Norman. The park is mainly made up of permanent camp sites and the perimeter was for short stays.
