... That's it for now...I pray that y'all have a blessed weekend with your friends and loved ones. Be safe out there if you are attending any Christmas parties...and I ask that you please pray for Michelle and I tonight that we have a safe and UNEVENTFUL flight -- and that we're both able to sleep on the plane...and that we end up sitting next to nice, kind and friendly people (who don't smell or have stinky feet). *smirk* Until we meet again! ...

The next day, Al headed off to Alcatraz (I’d been before so hit Macy’s instead) which he loved and bought himself yet another book to add to his eclectic travel collection about The Rock. We made it back to the campground just before sunset and enjoyed red wine and crisps on the cliff top above the beach. It was nice ...

... be closed again. Our next major stop was just south of Big Sur at the Intriguing Piedra Blancas elephant seal rookery near San Simeon. The beach was packed with sun baking seals and the air screaming with the bellows of booming, guttural grunts from the males, and squawks and squeals from mothers and babies. There was also some grunts and groans coming from the large throng of camera happy tourists clicking wildly down wind from the seals. A lot of them seemed ...

Meeting Mickey Mouse

... There was also Star Tours which is one of those movies where they move you around in your seat and it makes you feel like you're really in it. It was based on Star Wars and our ship was crashing a lot so it was a bumpy ride.

I met Mickey Mouse and took a photo with him. The line wasn't too long since we had gone to Mickey's Toontown early. I also met Rapunzel and Flynn ...
