The Tohono O'odham people are the second largest Indian tribe in Arizona and are known for their beautiful woven baskets. As much as the Mission, we enjoyed hearing the history of the Tohono O'odham Indian people. We visited a plaza after the tour and Clare bought a pair of earrings with the I'itoi Man in the Maze carved on the earrings. The maze depicts the many turns and changes in life from birth to death. ... and bar were packed with Sunday Harley riders. Cindy and Ron brought along their neighbor Michael and Canadian RV friends Gary and Kim. After a beer we hopped on our bikes and cruised on 2 lane roads to another biker bar called Roadrunner Steak House in New River for lunch. Great food, company and a one man band. More on the sounds of the game later. Of course I had to look in on most well known feature of the stadium, the pool in right-center field. Two home runs ended up being hit near there but neither landed in the pool. The stadium seems to have a bunch of seating, ...

We have now returned to our site at Sandy & Don Buerkley's Sun Meadow Ranch near Cave Creek. We continue to enjoy their hospitality and reasonable rates. Florence & I are relearning how to play 500 card game under their tutelage. On a "girl's" day out, we went back to Lake Pleasant for lunch. The dam that created the lake is huge and is part of the Central Arizona (irrigation) Project that serves ...
